Well, I'm happy to say that the D83 Book Club is back in business! We met at Carol Mola's house last Friday, December 13th to talk about the book Home Safe by Elizabeth Berg. I would say the general feeling was that the book was okay, nothing to get too excited about, but a good, quick read and not too difficult. Most club members have enjoyed Berg's previous books, but didn't think this was her best.We ordered pizza and chatted....catching up on kids and jobs. Our next meeting is after the holidays, Friday, January 8th at Bonnie Warner's house in Lombard. We had a tough time choosing a book and decided on Maynard and Jennica by Rudolph Delson. Hope to see everyone there.
